I'm Nishan Sembacuttiaratchy, and am the owner and operator of this site.

I have been involved in IT from my early days, and was more interested in the multimedia aspect of Computing and then switched on to the Internet and the WWW.

Education wise, I have a B.Sc Honours Degree in Information Systems from the London Guildhall University (now known as the London Metropolitan University) and a Masters in Information Technology specialising in Business Management from Charles Sturt University in Australia. Currently reading for a Ph.D in Management

I was employed at a local Software Development House initially as a Developer, and then quickly moved up as Project Manager of the Web Development Section. I then moved on to another Company and established a Software Division which I headed.

Presently, I am a freelance Consultant and am engaged in the following:

• IT Consultancy (Software Validation, Systems Procurement, Network Security, Policy Development, etc.).
• Software Development.
• Development of Web Sites, Web Applications and Intranets, E-commerce Solutions.
• Multimedia Productions such as Electronic BizCards / Corporate Profiles on Mini CD's.
• Lecturing and Teaching of IT subjects for BIT, as well as for the British Computer Society (BCS) - UK, and other courses.

My latest update is that I have partnered with a few associates and established 3 companies

4th January 2006 marks the day that the 1st Franchise Branch of E-Soft Computer Studies was opened. The Company is headed by me, and we offer many of the courses offered by E-Soft as well as courses that have been developed by ourselves. Quality education is the prime concern.
